Karim Ghachem

Biography

Karim Ghachem joined 400CM in October 2025 and is currently Managing Director, Head of Business Development Strategy. In this capacity, Karim is responsible for managing the firm’s product development, funding strategies and investor client coverage. Prior to joining 400CM, Karim was Managing Director and Head of Capital Formation for Global Private Markets at Man Group. Before that, he held senior business development roles at Pretium Partners, Southpaw Asset Management and Three G Group. Earlier in his career, Karim served as Vice President at State Street, marketing the firm’s global macro and quantitative strategies, and directed the firm’s New York office. He also held prior roles in equity research sales at Credit Agricole/Calyon Securities and Brown Brothers Harriman.

Karim holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.A. from Tufts University. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
