Jeff Willoughby

Biography

Jeff joined 400CM in July 2019 and is currently Head of Residential Credit Strategy. In this capacity, he is responsible for sourcing, structuring, monitoring and executing loan origination and securities investments across performing and non-performing residential credit, RMBS 2.0 and alternative housing finance. He serves as a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to 400CM, Jeff spent six years at Freddie Mac where he was Co-Head of Loan Portfolio Management and Structuring. In this role, he built and led teams that managed credit risk transfer strategies for legacy loans including models, surveillance, asset management, and analytic platforms. Prior to Freddie Mac, Jeff founded Ring Bear, a boutique technology consultancy focused on parsing, visualization and scalable cloud solutions. Prior to that, Jeff spent 11 years at Bank of America where he joined from college and departed as a Managing Director of Global Markets in the Structured Portfolio Group. Jeff graduated from Washington and Lee University earning a Bachelor of Science with Special Attainments in Commerce, double majoring in Business Administration and Economics.
